I've been having issues with Firefox on certain sites like Nexusmods.
Whenever I get a notification on the bell on the website, I get an error " Connection Error: Try reloading the notifications" and it doesn't go away even if I reload. I have to mark all notifications as read with the Mark All as Read button to get the notifications to disappear.
Way to prevent new tabs from opening and downloads?

I was looking for settings or add-ons that would let me toggle the ability to open new tabs on or off on certain domains and also toggle on or off downloads. Occasionally I find spyware in my downloads and would also like to prevent pop up ads.
