Was out walking the dog just before sunrise and noticed some fat dew drops, so I decided to finally set up for this kind of shot. Macro can be a pain, even with still subjects, but quite rewarding!

Testing out my new macro lens on an extremely hot day. This guy didn’t seem to mind the baking ground and, in fact, seemed quote noble on his perch! I’d like to think this would be his official portrait.
My wife recently got this cool houseplant that has these almost silver leaves. At macro the texture looked even cooler!
Got the bug (heh) for macro photography this weekend and picked up a good lens for it that also doubles as a nice portrait lens. Overall, I found it to be hard but pretty rewarding and cool! I think I’ll be looking at the tiny world often.
Saw a lightning bug crawling on the window and thought of a cool shot! Little guy was happy to fly away after.
