    “Maine, Colorado, and other states that might try to bureaucratically deny ballot access to any Republican nominee should remember the U.S. House of Representatives is the ultimate arbiter of whether to certify electors from those states,” Massie posted Friday on X, formerly Twitter.

    This sounds like the GOP is going to block States Rights from holding elections unless the outcome is to the GOP’s benefit.

    That’s how it’s always been.

    People say the civil war was about slavery, and while it was, it was mainly sparked by Southern states demanding northern states return and runaway slaves.

    They wanted the states to have the rights to decide whether they allowed slavery but also wanted the right to violate the rights of states who chose to outlaw slavery.
