I am absolutely not one to defend Russia, but isn’t this how most countries recruit? “Rah rah, fight for your country, be a patriot, look at these cool fighter jets.”

Definitely. I tend to crosspost most military news with a focus on masculinity because for the most part war is a men’s issue. Russia and Ukraine just happen to be actively at war and so a lot of that content comes from them.
