Do you really think there are no cameras at power plants, landfills, and waste incineration facilities?

Farms, maybe there are not many cameras, but what would be the point of covering thousands of acres of corn with cctv?

What point is even trying to be made? Or is this just some random hot take that’s supposed to rile people up in the 3 seconds before they scroll past and forget about it?

Soylent Green is……

A mid movie. Really kinda meh overall.

You could say the same about the Simpsons today, where in the early 90’s it was groundbreaking and novel.

It’s already made its mark and become so integrated into the media landscape that it is tropey and simple now.

There are a couple farms I’m aware of in my country that have public camera feeds to prove their chickens are being treated well.

The point being made is very obviously not about literal cameras, but rather about what the media reporting focuses on and where public awareness is. It’s interesting that this comment made you so angry that you felt the need to write that comment.

are you ok?

Ah, the old “U mad bro” rebuttal

But you have a point though. There’s totally no media coverage of green/fossil fuels, factory farming, or trash contaminating the oceans.
