Australian pharmacy warehouse workers on strike

A strike by workers at a warehouse for Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) is going on. API’s parent company is Wesfarmers, which makes over $30 billion revenue a year.

The strike is taking place to stop the company’s attempt to cut real pay. Workers are currently struggling to afford basic needs, and are already reeling from the effects of a bad pay deal in the recent past.
