Like all adult comedy animation, it’s hit or miss and highly dependent on your mood and how you respond to animation.

SNW is an anomaly in that it started as a spinoff to a show that was already contentious within fandom. Unlike previous iterations that began while another show was still on the air, SNW benefited from comparison to the already existing show. Fans were hungry for something different.

I’d love to see that cast get one more go on the big screen.

I was very skeptical about it at first, but then it turned out to have some great characters and thoughtful storylines on top of all the deep lore self-referential jokes.

CeruleanRuin , to Star Trek in Did anyone else see what Uhura did there?

We might be able to see it better if it was in the original aspect ratio instead of this absurd portrait format.

CeruleanRuin , to Star Trek in I call him Jim Carey Kirk. Am I wrong?
@CeruleanRuin@lemmy.world avatar

Yeah I definitely see it after watching the Wrath of Farrakhan sketch.

The next video was this, and I must now share it to purge it from my nightmares.

Aha, makes sense! I had all but written off ComicCon because I figured the strikes would put the kibosh on most of the panels and other appearances, but I guess the studios will still roll out their stuff there. Cool beans.

What is up with that? It’s not supposed to be out until Thursday. That’s a heck of a release date slippage.
