That's alright. When I first saw the episode USS Calilister I thought he was Matt Damon.
Plemons is actually married to Kirsten Dunst. He's got quite a lot of acting credits under his belt. Friday Night Lights, Varsity Blues, and most recently Killers of the Flower Moon with Leonardo DiCaprio.
I find it highly doubtful they will be able to fill the position at all. The only reason McCarthy has it is because he gave in to the Freedom Caucus' demands and got himself into this very position (which many predicted would happen). It's up to the GOP to lead their majority, and they can't even agree who that is amongst themselves.
What a shit show. They put their own party against doing the business of the people.
It's about to sink McCarthy's career. He gave too much ground to the Freedom Caucus when he was elected to Speaker. Now he's absolutely accountable to a minority of House Republicans that decide their own policy behind closed doors. The GOP can't even lead a functioning government amongst their own party. They're a laughing stock made tragic by the millions affected by a government shutdown.
Here’s some graffiti located on the corner of Williamson, and John Nolan Drive in Madison. Been there at least a couple weeks, no one in city government is really making an effort to get rid of it…
Since moving to kbin.social from Reddit I have been 10 times more active in posting because I want the platform to be successful and engaging. It's been a very refreshing change, but it only works if you participate.
I don’t see it happening unless he’s actually convicted in the 1/6 or Georgia trials.
I 100% agree with you. I've argued that, despite my personal feelings on Trump, he deserves due process under law before this happens. I understand that some constitutional scholars believe he's disqualified just because it's mentioned in the 14th Amendment, but I can't see how you enforce that without some sort of conviction or admission of guilt.
