Trump can try to distance himself from it but it was put together by more than 20 officials he appointed in his first term.

@rbreich Project 2025 empowers Trump, but what it really does is give unwarranted authority to unelected people who see a demi-dictatorship--run by them--in the future. They know Trump is not hand's on, so long as he can play at being king and can enrich himself.

So let me get this straight: The so-called "originalists" on the Supreme Court have essentially given the U.S. president the power of monarchs. Just days before the 4th of July, mind you. The hypocrisy is staggering.

@rbreich The "Originalists" haven't given everything to the President-they've reserved a little oversight for themselves to keep tabs on any Democratic President. But for Trump--anything goes.
