Trump wants to extend his tax cuts for the rich, which would add $4.6T to the deficit.

But he wants to go even further, cutting the corporate tax rate to 15%.

This would result in the 100 biggest corporations receiving a giveaway of $48B annually.

It's clear who he works for.

@rbreich This is the oldest GOP reelection plan, in place since the Bush 2 administration. Their giant tax cuts expired a few months into Obama's leadership as a way to bake in billionaire and corporate support for a GOP president.

It didn't work then.

Trump asked Big Oil execs to give him $1 billion for his campaign.

He promised lower taxes and a rollback of Biden's climate regulations and clean energy programs in return.

Trump is literally willing to take bribes in exchange for the destruction of the planet.

Be warned.

@arstechnica ...almost like the push for green vehicles wasn't about being the frontrunners in a new personal vehicle ecosystem but was instead about getting government grants and forestalling investment in public transportation infrastructure after all.

@arstechnica This is a fantastic article, folks!
Provide the story, relevant context, and then closes with the larger pattern of behaviour and what it might foretell in future.

Just A+ work all around. This is what reporting should always look like.
