In 2020, Donald Trump won North Carolina by just 1.3%, his smallest margin of victory in any state. And while the 2024 polls don’t currently show Joe Biden holding Trump to such a slim margin this year, let alone winning the state, there are reasons to think North Carolina is going to be ground zero in the 2024 fight against GOP extremism. @arstechnica I taught myself BBC BASIC on my acorn electron in the mid eighties. Had a few extras (subroutines and functions, not just goto)

Billionaires who condemned Trump are now flocking to his campaign.

It’s obvious why.

Biden wants a 25% tax on billionaires.

Trump wants to double down on tax cuts for the rich.

All they care about is lining their own pockets no matter the cost to everyone else.

@rbreich It's not as if they could ever spend everything they have now. They're so rich they couldn't. But it's not about money for them. They're so insecure it's a way for them to feel they're winning.
