"Русский военный корабль, иди наху"

Curious human. I thrive on books, coffee, & big ideas.

I have been involved with open source for decades and do "drive-by" fixes whenever I see anything needing fixin'.

Current projects (GitHub):
• 🧠 gactar - create & run basic ACT-R models
• 📜 libE57Format - library for E57 file I/O (point clouds)
• 📜 GDExtensionTemplate - Godot 4 GDExtensions using CMake

In my day job I work on bloodstain pattern analysis software for crime scene forensics.

Many website admins, it seems, have yet to get memo to remove Polyfill[.]io links.

@arstechnica It's not really a "supply chain" - it's a dependency. "supply chain" implies some kind of financial arrangement that simply doesn't exist when using a random person's git repo.

@arstechnica And if Sony wins, that means these "AI" companies have to pay all the people & companies who's data/websites they scraped - including the small fries - right?

Right?

What do you mean that's not how it works and only the companies with a lot of money can protect themselves?

I'm shocked!

@arstechnica Any chance of you using hashtags on your posts so we can filter easier (i.e. anything "AI" like this)?

Thank you!
