@rbreich i was a school board member and we found our superintendent was stealing. The board offered him a large severence package. My statement to my fellow board members was how about we give him nothing and he walks away quietly and we don't press charges? I was out voted and he got the money and they all gift wrapped him to another district who hired him. Very eye opening.
