High-severity vulnerabilities affect a wide range of Asus router models

Researchers get modern marines to test Ancient Greek armor

People suspected the Dendra armor was ceremonial, but new tests show its utility.

@arstechnica Well, I don't know. Sticking a marine, with modern military training, into a modern reproduction of historical piece of gear and then trying to make deductions from that data, looks rather scetchy experiment designe to me. It's like sitting a F1 driver on a racing bike to figure out whether the racing bike is any good 🤷

@arstechnica I'm currently in the market for a pair of new NC headphones. For me, these are basically a disability aid, since they help me cope with noisy environments. Which means I'm willing to drop a pretty penny on some good headphones. I care less about sound quality than the NC quality. If thesw have much better sound, but the NC is only marginally better, I'll stay with my Sony.

@arstechnica Nintendo specifically has no right to complain. They have a great catalogue of old IP they do nothing with. If we are lucky we get a small new side scroller like DK or Metriod. Or they throw some of them on a poorly designed virtual console. If I can't get a full remake or a even a new entry in the series I'd be happy to throw them a few bucks to play the old Metriods, DK64, Starfox, Wario etc. Yet all we get out of them is lawsuits, lawsuits, lawsuits.
