Prior to 1982, the SEC considered stock buybacks to be illegal stock manipulation. But under President Reagan, stock buybacks were made legal. Now, instead of investing profits into people, big corporations use them to line the pockets of wealthy shareholders. They're a scam.

Unemployment has been at or below (mostly below) 4% since the end of 2021.

4 years ago, Trump called it "joyous" &"stupendous" that unemployment was only 13.3%.

In the "booming" Reagan years, unemployment averaged 7.5%.

Pres. Biden is presiding over historically strong growth.

@rbreich You of all people must be aware of the adjustments that are made to the released figures. The number of "new jobs" has been revised downward 12 of 13 times according to a study done just last year.
