@arstechnica Just to put some perspective on this: Sherrod Brown is up for re-election against a MAGA-backed opponent in a state with a lot of MAGA supporters and a long history of automotive industry jobs. While he has always backed US manufacturing, I think he is being a little louder to try and woo some of the MAGA leaning votes his way.
