When Trump openly and repeatedly exclaims that migrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” or shares a video calling for a “unified Reich,” he is literally echoing the language of Hitler.

Trump is not a “populist.” He’s not a “strongman.” He is a fascist.

Use the word.

Trumps "counsellors" needed to provide their boss a blueprint for the politics of the next turn. Of curse, a dumb guy like Trumps feels urge to babble it...

Wondering if wealth inequality is out of control?

Well, Jeff Bezos made over $7.9 million an hour last year.

In just 13 minutes, he made the equivalent of what a typical person earns in a lifetime.

Don't tell me that the rich can't afford a wealth tax.

I boosted your toot, bc the numbers are impressive. Though, I have to remind, that that perception is biased, bc it compares incommensurables.
Wealth isn't the same as income. You got to pay taxes on your personal income, but that does not include wealth, that is hoarded outside the personal account. That's the first way, rich people can evade tax.
Bezos or any other of that guy can easiliy determine, how much they 'earn'. They actually pay taxes on their personal consumption. And there are secondary ways of tax evasion.
Short: taxes are necessary, we need to reduce legal tax deductions, we might rise taxes on corporations, but all that won't solve the problem. Expropriation is the only way to stop super rich.

Trump held an event for megadonors this weekend.

These super-rich individuals don't seem to care that he wants to free Jan 6 insurrectionists.

Or that he echoes the words of Hitler to dehumanize opponents.

They'll overlook Trump's fascism in exchange for tax cuts.

Be warned.

Why not? Who qualifies for such a meeting is well aware being super-criminal one-self. Actually, 1/6 is peanuts to their account.

I still hear people arguing that prosecuting a former president sets a “dangerous precedent.”

The truly dangerous precedent would be to establish that presidents are above the law.

There is a true American solution.
Invented by Samuel Colt (the elder one).
