These people have to perpetuate the cycle of abuse by normalizing it. Otherwise they might have to - gasp! - admit everything they know is a ghastly lie!
I’m glad. This article doesn’t really get into the details of how and why it’s taken this long to do anything substantial with the site but I’ll just say it’s complicated, and it’s good that all the parties involved seem to have negotiated something that pays respect to the lives lost that night.
