If we can see the dog’s face through those glasses, they’re probably not safe viewing glasses. Safe ones would be entirely opaque (or mirrored) when seen from the front.

I think we’re just seeing reflections that happen to be close to the dogs skin tone. However, you’re completely correct, and even if they look opaque, glasses should be tested.

Thank you for your concern :) They're opaque and the same ones I used. They just reflected light weirdly in this photo.
