    The post is an expression of self. It may be a bit twee but affects no one else.

    The comment is a judgement of others that has no effect on the commenter.

    Yeah, they expressed themselves with emoticons, which is perfectly alright. Hopefully I got the message: that they’re desgusted with the expression “furt dad”. I don’t mind their form of expressing themselves. The intolerance of the message is what I was reacting to. It’s not that big of a deal though. Funny how hard it is to express oneself in writing clearly enough to be understood.
