Help with Ideas to make a concrete slab into a temporary kitchen countertop?

I would look into grinding and sanding it flat and a resin coating to seal the surface. There are YouTube tutorials to DIY it if you are price conscious

This. I’d put some sort of trim on the edging, like the metal edging used with tiles. Then I would put epoxy resin on top - to seal and to flatten it out.
