Remove default clock/system Info widget?

Edit: It was built into the MX theme.

I just installed MX Linux KDE and there’s a clock widget in the top right that I can’t seem to remove. Also it seems to be persistent between workspaces. How can I get rid of this? It disappeared when I tried to edit the regular widgets and then came back when I was out of edit mode.

Any idea?

If it’s MX and not KDE did you try this?forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=59219

Otherwise if the clock is indeed KDE I think the desktop file is here if I remember right ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc Should be able to edit it out.

You do remember right. The lines look like:

<span style="color:#323232;">[Containments][2][Applets][43]
</span><span style="color:#323232;">immutability=1
</span><span style="color:#323232;">plugin=org.kde.plasma.digitalclock
</span>

Remove them or comment them out, and the digital clock will disappear.
