I used to absolutely love pink ladies, but a few years ago I noticed that every time I got them, they were really hard and lacking in flavor. I kept buying them for a while until I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I enjoyed one. It’s possible I’ve been extremely unlucky, or that I’ve only bought them out of season, but I’ve stopped buying them altogether.

Kshama Sawant did not run for re-election during the last election cycle. Her seat is now filled by Joy Hollingsworth who was elected in Nov 2023.

I work in a hospital admitting patients for surgery.

The amount of people who come in with LARGE wads of cash is… perplexing. My guess is these people don’t trust banks or the people around them, so they carry their cash everywhere they go.
