Four years ago today, Donald Trump suggested Americans could be injected with disinfectant to fight covid.

If anyone asks you: "Are you better off than you were four years ago," the answer is a resounding yes.

@rbreich The question is not whether you are better off but whether you are on a better trajectory.

Democrats need to pay attention to the plight of the underclasses.

This is why Democrats lost in 2016. It's what actually happened.

@rbreich A lot of the Precariat are not better off. Yes, they are on a better trajectory. Don't make the same mistake Hillary did and dismiss the growing underclasses.

Funny how wealthy Americans will readily accuse Biden of “buying votes” with student debt forgiveness but had no issue with Trump signing massive tax cuts for themselves. Hello?

Today’s CPI report shows meat & poultry are among the highest items pushing inflation.

Maybe that's because just 4 companies now control processing of 80% of beef, nearly 70% of pork, and almost 60% of chicken.

Without competition, corporations can get away with price gouging.

FTX fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried sentenced to 25 years in prison

SBF had asked for sentence of just 5 or 6 years. Prosecutors sought 40 to 50.

When I was a little boy, the Japanese military attacked Pearl Harbor. It was a surprise attack, and thousands of U.S. servicemembers perished. As a nation, we were stunned. And we vowed to strike back. Revenge was understandably on everyone’s mind, including many Americans of Japanese descent who opposed the emperor and were peaceful and law-abiding U.S. citizens and residents. /1
