I'm asking in good faith, how would Sanders have done it? He'd have the same Senate and same House.

Who do you think would have done better and how?

Biden’s policy and legislative record as President are far more impressive than anyone expected, and the author of this piece outlines how and why.

No one you're responding to read it.

You mean the railroad thing where he got them the sick days they wanted after the news cycle stopped paying attention?

The gerrymandered house and the gerry-landed Senate make this impossible. Put whatever candidate you want to replace Biden. The results will be the same or worse.

We can't even fill basic pentagon positions thanks to "Coach." But Biden should have unilaterally fixed everything. Sure.

If he wins despite the massive “election interference” he faces, he is fully justified in unleashing the vengeance that is so prominent a part of his 2024 message. If he seems to lose … it’s clearly grounds for whatever extra-constitutional redress he and his supporters choose.

This was all true before she opened her mouth. He's been laying the foundation for that for 3 years. He continues to, despite his indictments for doing so.

They're not all stupid, but they're all catering to stupid. With the exception of Chris Christie which is why he's so far behind.

It's less that he's bought and more that he's hoping to be bought. He's seeking donations from other people with a vested interest in denying human made climate change. He's not bought, he's for sale.

CapgrasDelusion , to Texas in [FOX News] Texas cutting ties with American Library Association over accusations of group's 'Marxist ideology': Report

These free speech absolutists sure like to ban books.

I'm not a Marxist. I'm not a lesbian. I'm not a nazi. I'm not afraid of being exposed to these ideals, these human beings, or others. I can try to understand them, I can accept them, I can choose to reject them. I can talk to my children about them and let them decide. I can't do any of that if someone else decided I can't read about them.

Lesbians don't call for anyone to die, otherwise go away, or hide ideologies other than their own. Marxism is an economic policy. There is no stance on banning knowledge as far as I know. They criticize some ideals and reject them.

Authoritarians repress ideas and thought. Because they cannot hold power when people know there is an alternative. There is no opportunity to criticize.

I was taught about nazis in school. What they did, how they treated people. I decided I didn't like what they did. I wasn't taught about lesbians. If I had been, I'd have taken them over the nazis.

“I done had auntie-to-nephew, mother-to-son type of talks with her."

If Trump takes that to mean they had a romantic relationship I worry about his family dynamics.

CapgrasDelusion , to Politics in News: A confused Dianne Feinstein tried to give a speech in the middle of a Senate hearing vote and was told to 'just say aye' instead

This is the answer. She doesn't just get replaced instantaneously and she absolutely doesn't get her committee positions filled quickly, if at all. She took things too far to turn back. The GOP will stall any committee replacement for Feinstein. It's already too late. At this point, pulling a Weekend at Bernie's is unfortunately the preferable solution.
