Chevron is gone and courts don't need to listen to experts anymore.

More judicial power being consolidated...

I say don't give it to them. Ignore the illegitimate court.

SCOTUS is completely illegitimate at this point.

They're going to overturn the Chevron decision next and make our lives even worse.

Total mystery!

iMessage gets a major makeover that puts it on equal footing with Signal

@arstechnica
Ars is normally on point, but this headline is wrong. In order to be on equal footing, Apple would need to not be in control of the encryption keys. But they are, so really, Apple can insert themselves (or Governments) in between your conversations whenever they please without your noticing. Plus, their code isn't open source and audited.

CDC to update its COVID isolation guidance, ditching 5-day rule: Report

@arstechnica Far too ambiguous...I never even had a fever when I had it. My wife didn't either. Mild symptoms should be a red flag. It should be, minimum, no symptoms, and a negative test. I'd also put a 14 day isolation period on it.

The disease doesn't go away just because businesses don't want people to take sick days.

@arstechnica If any company actually had compassion for their workers, they'd cut the compensation of C-suite positions FIRST, and well before any . They should take responsibility for mismanagement and overspending by making their own sacrifices, especially since they were calling the shots. That none of these companies are considering lowering CEO pay first shows the cuts aren't about saving money, they're about greed and taking back power from the general workforce. It's class-warfare
