Why are multimillionaires and billionaires like Peter Thiel, Rupert Murdoch, Travis Kalanick, Steven Mnuchin, and others are rallying behind Trump?

Yes, the tax cuts. But there's more.

The more Trump tears down democracy, the safer the oligarchy becomes.

ComradeGibbon ,

@rbreich Humble opinion, they are all criminals. They've all done stuff that should land them in prison.

Definitely more interesting than a bag of ice.

ComradeGibbon ,

@georgetakei I once played the drinking game I never with a dozen 40 something gay men from San Francisco.

I have lived a sheltered life.

@georgetakei My engineering degree would have been a lot cheaper if I only had to buy a bible instead of four dozen math, science, and engineering books.

73% of mothers with kids under 18 are in the workforce. More than flowers or brunch, working moms need:

  • Paid family leave
  • Equal pay
  • Universal childcare

(But get your mom flowers, too)

ComradeGibbon ,

@rbreich Best thing for mothers (and dads) is a subsidized four day work week for parents.

I still hear people arguing that prosecuting a former president sets a “dangerous precedent.”

The truly dangerous precedent would be to establish that presidents are above the law.

ComradeGibbon ,

@rbreich The dangerous precedent is electing a criminal to the office in the first place. Well we can go back farther to not throwing Trump in prison in the 80's. But likely even farther back than that for not throwing Trumps dad in prison in the 50's.
