Small world, indeed! I never considered that any of my neighbors would have even heard of Lemmy. Thank you for the compliment on the house; it really deserves a little more TLC from me in the front. The deer are definitely a problem, but I just assumed the arborvitae were growing like that because I never bothered to prune them.

I almost did, but it occurred to me that I’m not sure what Zionism really means. I suppose some people sincerely believe in it, but is it fair for the term to include people who are just in it for the real estate, people who just use it as a political cudgel, or Christian evangelical doomsayers? Furthermore, there have to be a few Zionists who would acquiesce to Palestinian demands or disagree that it should be in Palestine, right?

How loud is yours? I’ve got one that I avoid using because it’s too loud, much more than a regular window unit. It doesn’t sound broken, so I’m wondering if mine is just a bad model or if it’s a common trait.
