Locally, someone just kept splashing the offending statues with red paint when nobody was looking. It wasn’t long before nobody wanted to keep footing the bill to have them sandblasted clean.
Yup this is a racist tantrum, “anti woke” is just the new coat of paint. It isn’t “anti woke” that’s getting more common, it’s racism, xenophobia, and hate in general.
I guess this is what the culture wars are all about. To me Trump looks weak, dim, and cowardly like if he hadn’t been born into money we’d be watching a documentary about the local women he killed and disposed of in his burn barrels.
