America's 813 billionaires now collectively hold a record $5.8 trillion.

That’s more than the wealth of the entire bottom half of the US, roughly 65 million households.

It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to allow this level of wealth concentration to continue.

Robert Reich reports that the ultra wealthy have got even more wealthy, while the poor have gotten poorer. And yes, one option is to tax the rich. But if that can't be done, we need other options.

I'm not saying we shouldn't worry about how China might be using TikTok to steal our data and manipulate us...

But why aren't we at least as worried about the U.S. billionaires who own the other apps stealing our data and trying to manipulate us?

@rbreich Funny how people don't like the idea of China "manipulating" the US. Yet Americans are only too happy to be manipulated by (and local billionaires of course). Perhaps if the US adopted some of China's principles in governance (such as governing for the people rather than for a wealthy elite), it may be just as successful economically,
