It was a bad case by Australian Gov, but the fact they felt the need to do it, doesn't leave Twitter looking good either.
Twitter has turned into exactly what we knew it would do under Elon. It's become a tinpot dictatorship where nobody knows what free speech is and isn't allowed and what it is left up to the whims of its CEO.
@arstechnica
Not a new idea, but it's good to see some solid research and Ars giving it some publicity.
Add to this external cost, including pollution and climate change and its even better for Renewables.

Remember how Elon Musk kicked up a massive stink about "shadow banning" of Conservatives?
Now the hypocrite is a big champion of it. He called it "freedom of speech, not freedom of reach"
Why aren't the Free Speech Warriors up in arms about it?
As for the rest of, we all understand, Good Social Media Moderation is a good thing.
@arstechnica
"On X, the policy is to "limit dissemination" of content produced"
This is called SHADOW BANNING.
It's exactly what every conservatives said old Twitter was doing, and that Elon would stop, and of course, it's not limited to terrorism posts.
The hypocrisy!
Along with all the rest.

He's basically dropped the ball on everything. Solar roof, energy storage, semi, Roadster, 4680 cells, affordable EV. It's all very well to pivot to robotics and AI, but you don't do that at the expense of the rest of the business.
@arstechnica
I don't think China cares. Right now, there is a global opportunity to replace Fossil Fuels across the world. China can electrify South America, Africa, and Asia over the next decade with wind and solar, EVs, and storage. They can replace European and Japanese and American brands as well as the whole Fossil Fuels Industry.

With 90% of car trips being less than 20 miles and with just one person in the car, this is actually by far a better option than pretty much everything else you can buy.
