He's basically dropped the ball on everything. Solar roof, energy storage, semi, Roadster, 4680 cells, affordable EV. It's all very well to pivot to robotics and AI, but you don't do that at the expense of the rest of the business.

I don't think China cares. Right now, there is a global opportunity to replace Fossil Fuels across the world. China can electrify South America, Africa, and Asia over the next decade with wind and solar, EVs, and storage. They can replace European and Japanese and American brands as well as the whole Fossil Fuels Industry.

With 90% of car trips being less than 20 miles and with just one person in the car, this is actually by far a better option than pretty much everything else you can buy.
