@georgetakei My washing machine has no timers, nor will it ever tell you how much longer.

The dryer you set an amount of time and by the gods it'll dry that long then stop

Might not be dry by then, but the dryer doesn't care! It did the amount of time, it's done.

@georgetakei My mother was constantly worried about this

Luckily I weighed twice as much as my twin did at birth, so mother is like...mostly certain we're the twin she thinks we are.
