Reminder that Live Nation/Ticketmaster is a monopoly, which is why it can get away with providing awful service, charging exorbitant prices, and tacking on fees as high as 75% of the ticket price.

It's a big deal that the DOJ is planning to file an antitrust lawsuit against it.

@rbreich perhaps you can help us understand, why the SEC approves these mergers to create monster monopolies in the first place?
