@arstechnica journalistic correction: "Volkswagen Group", not "Volkswagen".

And yeah, that matters a lot: it's a bit like saying Audi or Porche or even Lamborghini invested those 5bn instead: those are also owned by VWG.

(Or saying that "Facebook" is investing in something when it's actually Meta doing the investing)
