@arstechnica This is a good example of why there is regulation and resistance against surveillance, tracking and sometimes technology in general. It’s never about the tech itself but about people and systems using, and abusing, it.

@arstechnica It's okay though, because they weren't fired over this, they instead resigned before they could be fired, so they can just apply to be a cop again after taking a nice vacation. What a system.
