@arstechnica These yutzes have no credibility and it ultimately will become a race to see who strings them up from oak trees first.

AI hype invades Taco Bell and Pizza Hut

Everything is suddenly "AI" in corporate food marketing, and we may have hit peak buzz.

@arstechnica But this is nothing new. The same thing happened with "expert systems" in the 1980s. And more recently with "IoT". This year's chrome styling

“Big year ahead,” says Jeff Bezos as New Glenn rocket rolls to launch pad

Blue Origin plans a tanking test at Cape Canaveral, then a hotfire on the launch pad.

@arstechnica Hmm. "Tanking" could be taken to mean "falling over on the launchpad" which would then definitely lead to a hotfire on the launchpad.

@arstechnica 12-year old. Who has primary responsibility for their safety?

And I say this as a parent with two kids, youngest of which is 17. It's freaking impossible to keep track and/or block kids from access to danger once they have a laptop, desktop or $martphone.

The best you can do is walk them through the dangers you can say and try and keep checked in (absolutely no comment but "Oh, cool" or ") on what they're interested in.

You'd like to blame the platforms. Deeper pockets.

@arstechnica It's so appropriate that Charles Darwin's birthday is today. He'd be secretly pleased that there are several people here helping him prove his theories. Certainly looks like these 3 haven't yet reproduced.
