I actually enjoy the original and watch it nearly every time I stumble upon it in reruns. Don’t see a remake offering any new twists.

@arstechnica Look at that - I didn't think it was possible but here we are: a line of dialogue even DUMBER than the original Twister. And the original Twister had that one scene where Philip Seymour Hoffman was going "Woo hoo! Hey you guys, woo hoo!"

@arstechnica It's so appropriate that Charles Darwin's birthday is today. He'd be secretly pleased that there are several people here helping him prove his theories. Certainly looks like these 3 haven't yet reproduced.
