@georgetakei I feel like this is intentional. Subtext is look at me, I can spend this much, so you should want to be like me instead of like broke woke people. See they're even mad because they are broke. It's obnoxious, but that's who they aim for.

You probably have met the type of people many times. Star Trek money gotta attract that type. Out to use you for money gain with their fake smiles, pretending they are out to do niceties, acting like you can't see it a mile away.
