@arstechnica On the one hand, the (Republican) in favor of Ukraine funding says, "Alarm!". On the other hand, the (Republican) who refuses to fund Ukraine says, "No need for public alarm!".

I still think it'll be at least a few days before we get a good picture of what the heck is going on here, but so far it does look like a political tactic to remind ONE person that Putin is not actually our friend, and to apply political pressure to stop blocking supplying Ukraine.
