joshthewaster OP , 11 months ago to Home Improvement in Types of drain tailpieces - what are they called? They fit different sinks so my new one doesn't fit. I called delta and was able to get another tailpipe without the integrated drain but the threads were still short. Ended up using a spacer made from pvc to fill the gap and that seems to be working without an issue.
