I propose we buy a few, mount machine guns on them, and paint them in rainbow pride colours just to screw with the "liberals are weak sissies boohoo" nonsense. We gotta have artillery too lol. But, ya know, use it to protect human rights rather than harassing innocent civilians like those pigs...

Golden retrievers can swim for over 40 minutes without tiring - they were originally bred to retrieve shot waterfowl from the middle of lakes. It’s still absolutely a good idea to get a life vest, but even in a lake like this the doggo should be ok.

No, no I think that’s about right…

This cured my depression for a few hours. Thanks.

“To live is to suffer; to survive is to find some meaning in that suffering.”

That said: It takes a good deal of money to fund any search, especially enough time to actually contemplate meaning… Thus, money, to some extent or another, is necessary to truly survive - and the extent of that money greatly contributes to the extent of survival. It does not guarantee survival - but it is required to have the opportunity.

Some dogs are trained to use a crate like a “den” so they can be easily kept out of trouble when the family isn’t home. My maltese is crate trained, and it actually serves as a “safe space” for the dog, especially with smaller dogs. You have to do it right - leaving the door open (the doggo is free to go where they want), never punishing the dog inside or with the crate, etc. My dog actually loves it, especially at night, and he has a separate bed outside the crate if he wants to sleep there. But he usually prefers a crate with a towel partly over the top as a sort of den.
