I find the whole thing very ironic, I understand that the LWMA mods feel their time (which they volunteered for free) was not respected by Reddit – and it wasn't.
But now my time, also given for free, which I spent building LWMA (who I exclusively shared content with), is not respected by the LWMA mods themselves.
Now all that work I shared has been deleted, and my time wasted, against both my wishes and I believe the wider LWMA group too.
I don't understand how the founder of this page (which LWMA currently points to), can wash his hands and claim it's not his fault, problem, or doing.
Left wing male advocacy is not big and strong enough for such infighting, and now we've lost one of the only spaces we had.

I have put a large amount of work into promoting LWMA to my following, not to mention contributing a lot of its most popular content, and I want to say I am pissed off that the mods think it's within their right to erase the entire community, because of some differences they have with Reddit.
By all means resign as mods, thats your right. But you are taking away friendships, conversations, content, and important support networks for men, that don't belong to you, but all of us.
I will not be supporting you, and will encourage my community to not support you either, unless the original LWMA sub is restored.
I am not going to split hairs over who pulled the trigger or clicked the button, take some accountability and accept the fact you were the one who instigated this migration, and have spent the last few weeks encouraging people to leave too.
(I mean, currently r/leftwingmaleadvocates is literally an advert for your Kbin sub)
And that is fine, you can leave, and you don’t have to mod LWMA. It can be a static sub, but it needs to be restored.
I am sorry that your work has not been reciprocated or appreciated by Reddit, trust me I know how it feels, but I would never close down my page as you and the mods have LWMA, as I know how many people rely on it.
The LWMA sub needs to go back up, it is not for you (or the other mods) to take down, and take away from the community.
So yes, whether by you or another mod, it is up to you.
I have work on the LWMA sub that I don’t even have anywhere else and I am going to start encouraging my community to apply more pressure via @thetinmen next week, if LWMA is not restored.

I don't agree, it absolutely is.
I've watched this all unfold and have kept out of it, as I respect the LWMA mod's choice to resign and totally understand and share their feelings (I too have been fucked over by Reddit, and especially Instagram.)
That said, although a-man-from-earth did not deactivate the sub, he 100% instigated this movement, and spent weeks sewing seeds of discontent, linking to his own kbin sub, and seemingly appointed a new head mod who was not fit for the job.
For him to now wash his hands, and for others to say 'its not his fault' is simply wrong, he started this whole mess.
I have not changed my position, and want to make it clear – if this cannot be fixed then I will openly start to apply pressure to have LWMA (and my work) restored, I will publicly talk about the actions that have taken place and a-man-from-earth's role as I see it, I will withdraw any support, and encourage my community to do so too.
I don't want to do any of that, but I do not want to lose my work, or more importantly, see others in the community lose important networks, friendships and resources.
Neither do I want to receive messages from several similarly heartbroken former LWMA members, asking what is going on, and sharing in my disappointment.
How you can look at this mess, and a-man-from-earth's actions, and say it's not his fault makes no sense to me.
I've watched this unfold, I've read the posts he put up in LWMA, his actions, and to me it is clear it is primarily his fault, and now his to solve – I understand this likely means contacting a mod who closed the sub.
You literally spent weeks stirring discontent, encouraging people to leave, inflaming the community, linking to this sub, and threatening to close LWMA – do you seriously think we would not be here if it wasn't for you?
What exactly do you think I can do at this point?
This is not my problem.
You had every right to share your disappointment in Reddit and resign, I'm sure many would share in your feelings and continue to support you here (including me), but you didn't do that. Instead you chose to destabilise LWMA.
Redirect your anger at the people who actually are responsible.
That is what I am doing right now, by speaking to you.
I have no idea who the mods of LWMA are/were, you do, and I have no means of contacting them.
I will never post to this sub, or support it, whilst LWMA remains down.
In fact I will start to do the opposite, I will disavow this sub, encourage others to leave (as a-man-from-earth did), and report any content of mine that is posted here, if the LWMA is not restored.
This is not my mess to solve. I've made my position clear.
If you want my support on this sub, and of my community, you've gone about this the totally wrong way.
As the moderator of the sub that LWMA currently points to, and as the instigator of this mess, this is your responsibility – by all means message the mods yourself, your influence with them is obviously far greater than mine.
I've already explained what happens next, I do not want to do that, I'd rather support your efforts.
As I said, some of my earliest work is on LWMA, and when I share how your actions have led to this being lost, this will only get worse and the pressure to do what you should have done already, will get greater.
I am not threatening anyone, I am simply telling you that all of my earliest work is with you, as well as some wonderful comments I had saved, and that is no longer accessible because of your decisions, and I am going to make that openly known to my community, unless it is restored.
My intention was to ask you amicably to undo what you've done, but that is clearly not within your interest.
Your response of IDGAF and 'its not my fault' is what is disappointing.
You may not have clicked the button, but your actions have 100% led to thousands of men losing important connections and content, and you seemingly don't care, so please don't paint yourself as some kind of victim here.
