By withholding a ruling on Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court's far-right justices are effectively giving Trump the immunity he's seeking, making it all but impossible for him to face trial before the election for his efforts to overturn the election and his role in Jan 6.

@rbreich These "Talibangelicals" have taken over Louisiana and ready to shove their version of authoritarian "religion" down everyone's throat. And I imagine they are gleefully aware of now being the ruling "status quo", as least in Louisiana.
@rbreich And then there are efforts to end child labor protection laws. The Louisiana Governor was quoted elsewhere that kids working for him didn't want to stop working for a lunch break!
