Why not buy another plug? You can get USB cables at the dollar store. Make sure to check continuity on the damaged connector, and the new cable & connector, so you can match up the pins.
Absolutely not worth trying to fix a plug like that (instead of replacing the plug with a new plug) IMO. Where would you even start? You’d essentially be trying to make a new plug from scrap and at best creating something inaccurate that’d be unreliable and likely wear or outright damage anything it’s plugged into.
Do you use firefox extensions? I find that many of them mess up google services, such as maps. For example, Google maps just straight up doesn't work with CDN blockers. You have to add an exception.
