Jules Rogers took a new job at a newspaper in Houston and moved from Portland, Oregon, in 2018.

She was earning 20% more and living in a more spacious apartment, but other costs increased.

She and her husband weren’t able to save and they missed parts of life in Oregon, so they returned.

I’ve never been a fan of stouts so that’s fair. They certainly can’t get better if they’re shut down. I hope they can get things cleared up and resettled.

Apparently Abundant Harvest Kitchen in Spring has been having weekend watch parties the whole time! Houston’s own SaberCats will be present on Oct. 1st for South Africa vs Tonga.

I wish we could just pay teachers what they deserve, and treat them like the professionals they are. It’s ridiculous to do this to anybody, but especially teachers.

I’m not certified, but I’ve done corporate and professional training. Teaching kids should be easier than a lot of the adults I’ve worked with.
