Justice Clarence Thomas is about to go through some things. Two senators have now asked Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate his likely ethics and tax crimes. My write-up in the replies below.
@georgetakei I found some ancient Band-Aids in my cabinet--and they worked great! The only thing that deteriorated was the paper wrapping for each one: just about turn to dust when you touch them.
@arstechnica oups, now the early signs of big corps finally realizing the bubble they've inflated might burst sooner or later, since it's mostly filled with bullshit?
@arstechnica kind of disappointing not to see the rumored aspect ratio change on the fold 6. The phone is still too tall and not wide enough when closed
@arstechnica it says more about people believing this nonsense than the propaganda machine in Russia. If people do not vouch the source, then they are part of the problem. Its still not illegal to think about things (yet), and those trolls spamming this, should be fined. It only suits to create distrust, disbelief and assists in polarising this world.
The people involved should be ashamed, albeit they probably are not.
@arstechnica any theory of consciousness that doesn't treat the entirety of the nervous system as the processing center (ie operating throughout the body, rather than solely localized within the brain) will fall short.
@rbreich
May get to see both.
When/weak "if" he loses again to Biden he'll continue the grift he started in 2020. Now, it may be from his jail cell but he'll keep making money off his gullible supporters.
US voters broke up with Don the Con in 2020. Spurned abuser inflicts on them until they beg to take him back.
There's no way he cedes GOP control & ownership no matter how often rebuked at polls. The money's too good and his ego (and Alzeheimers) won't let him stop.
He'll run again in '28.
