@georgetakei there are worse things than pizza and slices. I don't know if you're aware, but there is an apparition out there among people who actually cut pizzas into squares!! But I have heard a rumor that there are even some that go beyond that and eat pizza with a knife and fork! Hard to believe, I know!

@georgetakei I believe that Island was named when California was part of Spain. The fort, barracks, and prison were named for the island and later when that was converted to a federal prison the old name continued. I would absolutely support renaming it jailhouse Rock! Although there might be an IP issue with using that name, someone should absolutely check that out! 😁

@georgetakei My worry is less that they will find a way to take away a Biden win, then that they will find a way to put enough cheats in place to make a Trump win even with a minority of the voting population supporting Trump. The cheats that take place before the count may be more significant than any cheats after the count! We need a comprehensive voting Rights act or a constitutional amendment securing voting rights for all citizens and eliminating or negating the impact of the ways of cheating.

@georgetakei it's still astonishes me, although they are in the minority, how many people approve of ripping the money out of the public education system! It's not just that the rest of the country needs a strong public education system, so do they!

@georgetakei you can still do that but you pay freight prices for doing it. Basically, it cost too much. I have seen people who were traveling for work send tools and suitcases ahead by Air freight because they were not going to need them before they caught the plane to travel, but they did not need them for closing meetings. It can be done. Most people don't want to $$$$

@georgetakei the most conservative side of Congress is not interested in fixing the problems, they don't want to eliminate the corruption, they just want a piece of the action! Maybe we need some really good cops and FBI agents that have retired from public service to enter politics and run for Congress? Or maybe we just need to vote the conservatives that approve of criminality the heck out of office and replace them with anybody better.

@georgetakei I don't know if it's risky or not, it would appear to be. What strikes me is the risky or not it may be necessary. The problem is big and he has to do something about it, and the right something requires the Congress to work with him. The problem is we have a dysfunctional Congress that absolutely refuses to take action to address the problem, so it is all left to the administration to do the best it can under its authority. Until we replace enough conservatives members of Congress with people who will actually do the job, the law will not be changed. That is the goal that matters most, we need a liberal president with Congress with at least 60% liberals in each house in order to be sure of not only actually addressing the problem but legislating a proper solution.

@georgetakei When my youngest son was born I emphasized to my wife that her parents and my parents had no place in the naming: it had to be her choice and mine and we had to agree. Luckily we came to a strong agreement fairly quick, turns out we had great grandparents and great grand aunts and uncles that shared some names and some favorites. Four kids name is a history lesson if you know how to read it right! But we were happy. 😁

I don't drink out, and I am absolutely not on board with providing other people with booze anywhere except at my house or theirs. The thing is, you have to have that discussion up front. When the bill arrives it's a little late!

@georgetakei before I use super glue for very much I always make sure that I have some acetone based nail polish remover or technical acetone on hand. I don't normally keep her store it, but it's just the thing to dissolve that super glue.

@georgetakei I find that there's a certain point of exhaustion I can get to we're having a warm tummy overrides all caffeine. At that point a hot coffee is quite capable of putting me right out, and the snore decibels maybe high enough to be painful.

Of course, if we were building them for people to live in that would mean they would need plumbing and electricity rather than a long extension cord to a single outlet.... @georgetakei I am not sure that the judge can issue a guide order on anyone who is not directly involved in the trial. That said, if prosecutors can find evidence that Trump and the senator discussed this.... That would be an example of the defendant violating the gag order by inciting someone else to speak for him. We can only hope that someone is investigating...

@georgetakei I think Joe Biden is in a lot of trouble right now. There are many people who don't see a Biden win in the next election as win for America. But that is balanced against the 92% of America that sees a trump win as a loss for America and the world! I am among a smaller percentage that think Biden has done an absolutely amazing job and approve of him very much. I don't believe there is anyone of any age that is a better choice for that office. But there are a whole lot of worst choices and avoiding those make sense even to those who don't admire Joe Biden as much as I do.

@georgetakei I do not enjoy rap. I am not a fan of any rapper. That said this is an admirable and very enlightened kind of thing to do. The team is having a problem and someone stood up and addressed that problem who had the resources to do so without jumping through a lot of hoops. @georgetakei I have heard it said that English is a strange language. English is not a strange language! English is a creole made up of 47 (at last count) languages several of which are strange and none of which combine naturally in a way that lends itself to rules. English is a pirate language. It's his other languages from a distance, sails down the wind to fire a shot across their bow, that steals odd words and grammatical structures and sales away claiming them as its own.
