@arstechnica @arstechnica As a company that mixes gaming & healthcare, we are very interested in technological advances like that represented by Neuralink. The applications are staggering. As, we are sure, the risks might be as well.

@arstechnica Caplan and Moreno are worth quoting but Musk is not. This article and headline brings discredit on your publication by centering and quoting a liar.

Please do not quote liars. There is too much of that going on these days.

@arstechnica I see a lot of pessimism and Musk hate in the comments. It could be bad but it could be good as well? right?

Medical ethicists are alarmed by Musk having anything to do with science at all.

But seriously he never lies about anything so we are all good here ...🤡

@arstechnica Yeah, that "we're trying to make them click more" was a little oddly worded. I had this image of them applying increasingly strong electric shocks, and NOT in a Milgram way.

@arstechnica I can totally understand wanting to be at the forefront of tech. History doesn't always appreciate such pioneers as much as they should.

But trusting Musk with your brain is less forefront of tech and more "testing the airbags in cars manually by slamming into brick walls at 100 MPH." Aka suicide.

We have crash test dummies for that.
