Users complain that the Samsung Galaxy S24 stylus… smells bad?

Apparently the "Ultra" phone's S-Pen often smells like burning plastic.

@arstechnica wife has had several Samsung phones with pens, never said anything about a smell. She has the latest and nope, no smell. She has a very sensitive sniffer too. 🤷🏻

@arstechnica and also the S23 stylus... but I like it! I think it is something to be thankful: is that kind of smell of new tech devicies: only it seems like it is lasting forever; and it is great! Yeah, it has some small burnt notes, but still, for me that arome is very satisfactory. Actually when I am thinking in something, I use to take out the pen just to smell it. But sometime I think that if I smell it too much the arome will finally disappear. :(
